Thanks I had actually lost intrest in it and had it for sale for 500 bucks without the engine and tranny but I guess nobody was intrested so I just decided to get back on it.

$500!? Thats insane that no one bought it. Well hopefully now when you finish it and see that it was worth it, youll be glad you didnt sell it.

+1 for seeing it done! I love a slammed single cab dually. Not very often you see one.

Got back on the dually this weekend and learned that you should double check to see if your cab is unbolted before trying to hoist it up with a tow strap now I gotta hunt down some new doors

couldnt you put a new 2 inch wide piece of sheetmetal in there
i bet you only need one doorframe to get the 2 pieces needed wish would be a lot cheaper then 2 complete doors
the raingutters prolly do need to be replaced

I'll just pay a visit to our local metal recycling center we have a car auction for the trucks and cars that get seized by customs and border patrol and whatever doen't sell gets taken there to get crushed but you can go pick parts off them dirt cheap before they do it if you can beat the crusher. I can probably score 2 doors for like 40 bucks just have to get lucky and find a truck or burban.

wat if you offer 150 dollar on the truck and get it during the auction you have all the time in the world to get youre parts off and still get youre cash back
edit : never mind there prolly have to crush them without a doubt of them ever getting back on the road

better take a oxi cuttingset with you should even be fast enough to be able to cut of and remove the doors while in transit to the crusher if there working too fast
