Devious Dookie - '90 CC 3 3 Dually build - it begins

I had a 468 in my last hot rod and it had a 195 degree thermostat, and it ran 205 all day long, but you might try a different temp gauge to ensure it is reading o.k. other wise check thermostat, and make sure it has fresh clean coolant in it.

I looked it up and its suppose to be a 195 thermostat. It just seemed really hot to me plus it was 105 outside. So I guess about 200-205 would be acceptable. but I will definitely be putting new coolant in there just to be sure.

got all the new tires rotated and put on. starting to look like a real dually.

It's coming slowly, I'm moving forward with the progess. Also, have a baby due in 11 weeks. Wife and I are super excited about our first child!!

Also, added a new Edlebrock air filter assembly, changed the oil, & oil filter.

next will be replacing the fuel filter, cleaning up the carb and chaning the radiator coolant.

Cleaned the carb today as well as shining up those tires haha

also, got the fenders secured with some lag bolts.

One fender is painted, the other needs to be sanded and painted.

Touched up the rims, they are completely black now.

Installed the new amber & red fender light housings.

Took off the running boards. Looks much much cleaner now. Minus the yellow fender on a red truck. haha

Congrats on the child man....my little girl is almost 11 months old now....better get all you can done before the baby gets here cause it gonna slow ya down lol

Im from South Georgia...Baxley to be exact small little hick town but we actually have a fair share of custom vehicles around this town and the surrounding towns....not as many as 5 years ago but theres still a fes of us out here draggin around....and yea i feel your pain after 2 1/2 years on my silver dually i finally give up on it and started fresh....was best thing i could do....hang in there you will get this one right soon

Anyone know anything about Oasis air compressors? Would you run that or an EDC?
