I'm a former G.M. certified body repairman and I have been building hot rods/ painting for 20 years, I don't think you will be dissappointed with Evercoat products. After your done with the kitty hair use the evercoat Rage body filler, then use the evercoat polyester glaze putty for the final coats. That glaze sands out like a feather, its awesome stuff. If you follow that up with 2 heavy coats of urethane filler/ primer and a guide coat you will find any little imperfections easy and it goes really fast. Just my .02 cents worth. Hope this helps make your life easier.

Yes sir! I finishd up the body lines on the side/roof section and filled all the remaing holes and primered about 80% of the truck. I gotta do the roof still. I pulled those old ass running lights off the roof and have a new set of lights to replace them with. Filled those holes from the old mounting screws as well. Just have to do the tailgate and finish off around the doors and windows and she will b complete in the body work areaz!

Cant wait to see it finished man, I have a q about the cab lights... When you take them off to replace them with the 88-98 style are the mounting holes set wider apart from the new lights... Are the still visible?

Not sure im using an aftermarket set. But the older ones r a rounder shape, thr newer ones r narrower and my 03 cab lights r narrower also, so i would assume u would have to fill the holes yes

notice the body lines at the top of the doors are gone, along with all the screw holes from the rain guards or door trim up top. i went ahead and got the cab lights done as well, and maybe this weekend i can get those fender badges off and tape off the door handles and primer the rest of the truck, i still have the tail gate and obviously the rear fenders to finish up.
