I can't believe how damn dumb those people had to have been to do that hack job. I think a pack of drunken monkeys could have done a more legit job. I would like to have been in that shop listening to these people discuss how to install all of that and their reasoning for it. I didn't even know you could screw that notch cut out that bad.

I hope you get it fixed man. It really sucks that their are shitty shops like that out there. I think I'd have a state trooper station inspect it and deam it unsafe and than go shut that shop down for putting unsafe vehicles on the road.

OPERATION 454 REBUILD

I talked with a friend ofnmine that has a keen senz of engines. Well instead of dropping 5k into a stroked 383 y not juz tear down the big block and build it back up. We r expecting 500-550 crank HP on a mild build. Tear down the motor, then order some new heads and a nice intKe he is looking into parts and we will figure out a plan to get the right parts for the job. The names Holley and Edelbrock are in th mx of course....so tomorrow will begin the tear down.

i know i know i said i was gonna strt the motor tear down but my boy is finishing up my drag quad (2006 raptor 700r but with a 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10 motor ) so i figured i would pull the bed and see what we can fix from the AMAZING HACK JOB.


well i pulled the bed off today to assess further damage or mental incompetence if you will....

i pulled the box out and plan to clean up the whole and add two more 12" subs in a ported box i plan to buildinto the bed of the truck. it will be ported through i wanna add a chevy bowtie in there somewhere. add a lil flavor it should liven things up.

i am gonna move the tank and compressors under the bed so it will clean it up. theres abit of rook under the bed so i plan to use it

both shcks in the rear are shot so i am gonna order some tonight if i get a chance. out in the garage right now so im gonna get back to it! i did have some ideas tho of adding a flatbed rear from a early 70s chevy dually. i may go check it out and see what i can do more on that later.

istead of ordering shackles, i am gonna just move the stock mounts up 3 inches and weld them to the frame ive seen another member do it in som pics got the idead from them. saves money and no waiting on shipping.

They welded the bags to the leaf springs???????????? What the fuck!! it just keeps gettin better don't it??

Yup. The pass side bag was only spot welded in th front and those already broke.

I would inspect the bags CLOSELY not to mention the rest of their hack job! Because if they're that stupid, splatter from the welding could have landed on the bag itself and melted some of the rubber.
