Cabs aren't all that bad if your patient and have an engine hoist. Just take your time and mark all the wires and lines you pull loose as you go.
I took the cab off of my truck with the help of just my little brother to keep it stable in the air and put it back on by myself. If you go check out my build thread there should be a picture on there some where of a jig I welded up out of some scrap steel stock to lift a crew cab off basically by yourself with just an engine hoist. It just bolts into you seat and seat belt holes and you hook the engine hoist and pick the cab up from the floor instead of the roof with a bunch of lumber and other uneeded junk. Not sure there's enough structural integrity left in your cab but it would sure make the install of the new one 100 times easier.
