Grabbed an 89 B2200 extra cab last week. Project Stormtrooper is full go now. I'm 34yo and my childhood was filled with Mini Trucks in So Cal, I can't tell you how many friends had various full blown custom trucks. Now it's my turn.

Already moving forward, 18" dark gray Titan rims, 4+" static drop (no bags homie), new shocks, paint and body on the way.

Working on Alarm, Tint, C-notch the frame, Lower control arms.
Running to the junkyard this weekend, looking for a RX7 LSD and transmission (need a better 5th gear), maybe I'll run across an old 626/MX6 with good seats.
Have a 20yo Alpine cassette deck sitting on a shelf that has AUX in for my iPhone, it was a pull out (yes I am OG) but the cage and handle are long gone.

Hahaha DAMN! I thought I was going to the the first white extra cab on the hard to find dark grey titan rims. Clean truck man. What did you do to get the rims on there? I'm planning on ghetto fabbing it and taking a router to the rims. I spent way too much money on spacers and lugs, then decided I wanted that money back and just cut up the rims.

I had a buddy of mine machine the inner diameter out .660" and just like a factory fit. Don't use a ghetto method that you will regret later. Spend the time/money and do it right. I have never heard of someone wishing they did something different when they did it right the 1st time.

good looking truck dude. looks like you are off to a good start with a good goal ahead of you.

Won't be too ghetto fab, I have done my time in machine shops and car audio installation. As long as I get the right router bit, and a solid router, it should go fine. My dial calipers don't lie and I have plenty of cutting oil. I just can't wait to get these rims on. It should make for some hella flush tires on the 2wd fenders.

I've got to get a BMX put together so I can trade it for my body work and paint. I'm thinking a hot rod satin white will be pretty dope. Might go low rider style and flake the roof and pin stripe it a little, but i'm going to test the reflective sign microbeads first. No one has done it yet and it might be just right, or totally annoying.

plans for shaving anything before paint? those reflective microbeads might be hot in moderation, roof definately yes but whole truck probably not.

You could just grind off the the tabs from the hubs to fit the wheels.

Nope no shaving other than maybe the antenna hole, just want the dents out and some fresh paint. I prefer door handles etc.

Are people with airbags allowed to talk about moderation?
