go to your local unemployment office, they will help you find somthing. most industrial/commercial jobs go through there and they will teach you stuff i think also.

yah, Briggs and Stratton here only hires through the unemployment office. back when they fired without the U.O. they started you out at 9.50 an hour (our min. wage is 5.15) and now that they go through the U.O. they only start you out at 7.35....

i was gonna try getting a job there until i found out that.....

hey how old are you? Cause the military is always looking to recruit a few good men, and you get to serve your country!!! Free health care, free housing, and they will pay for school!

USPS.. just need a high school diploma. UPS.. high school diploma. And just because you cant get a loan for school.. you can still apply for pel grants, financial aid, scholarships etc. Also the military sucks.. but its an option. Coast Guard.. will never leave the states.

1 IM NOT joining the service . for The following reasons :

I hate G.W.B -
mom can't afford to run this house with out me !
3. I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THE STATES AND GO IN THE SAND BOX . i HATE WAR .

I AM not the brightest light bulb in the pack . thats been my major down fall threw out my schooling years . I'm a very slow learner ,,,, can't read a tape measure for shit . I don't like working in all kinds of weather . done that for over 4 years in grocery retail . i done my share sitting in the rain . not my thing . I 'll just end up going job to job like i've been doing .there is no such thing as LIKING a job . i call b.s on that . i'll say it and im sure everyone would agree i wouldn't work if i didn't have to bottom line .

Job scecurity is not there any more you could work today and be - laid off /fired tommorrow . 2 guys i know worked for a company in reading for 15 - years or more and just got laid off . wtf does that tell you??

AND As i said i'll jump job to job til i either get the pay i want or i end up hating the job and quit. I have no reason to create credit structure as my credit is focked and i won't be able to get loans any ways .Being as most loans (car , or even creidit cards ) use your credit score and how long you been at the job . it don't bother me i have a credit card that i put a deposit on couple years ago . I could care less any more . i've gotten to the point where i just don't care about any thing anymore . anything i do is point less to even make an effort for . theres nothing that i get out of anything that i do . so why bother . Yeah piss- poor attitude but thats life . i've been wronged in the last 6 years .. got f*** over by roomates who i thought could pay bills and guess what ? nope! Now i have a house on my credit report even tho i PAID my share of the rent! Live and learn .

Word to the wise don't share a place with "friends" You'll just get screwed over in the end.

Opening a custom fab shop for suspension/body work? I'D Watch your self pretty quick you can get over your head . My friend phil opened a shop full time was doing air suspensions. It was just him and another guy . He got him self so much work that he weared himself out . needless to say the shop closed after being open for like a year - year and a half . He was making pretty decent money out of it but barely to get by after buying parts to do the work on customers cars/trucks. He got to the point where he was burned out and didn't even have time to work on his own ride .His truck has been out of the scene for like a year /year and a half .. and is just now getting rebuilt now that he is not doing the suspension shop any more .He now works for amtrek .... There are a couple other reasons why he went to that as well - for him being a father of 2 - health insurance was a major factor . 2 money - he now makes i think 20-24 a hr doing maintence on trains . would he go back to open the shop again ? probably not .

just my 2 pennies .
