I used to work for a small tuner/fab shop. It was so awesome. I learned a ton of stuff there. They specialize in Rx7s,rotaries,Nissans,Toyotas,make their own strut bars,roll cages and do all crazy motor swaps and fab work...

Ever since I worked there,I thought it would be awesome to do my own kind of thing like that,but the thing is,you have to cater to a little bit of everything. Yeah,it's expensive,time consuming and a gamble to start up a shop,but if you could end up with something like FBI,well then,you've done pretty damn good.

And like you guys said about don't go into business with a friend...same thing happened with the shop I worked at. Two best friends (both in their late 20s at the time) opened the shop,and just after I had stopped working there,the co-owner quit,and since he left,the owner and brains behind the operation has actually become more successful than ever now.
