well, it was ugly, and in the way of everything, and i didnt' want to relocate it. i guess it all boils down to laziness and cosmetics - safety took a back seat this time

what happens when you send the one brake line from the master cylinder to the rear brakes? does it eliminate the 60/40 front to back ratio?

you talkin bout the piece that is mounted on the passenger side of the frame, just above & behind the axle?

that is the abs booster, if you disconnect the circuits going to it, you won't have abs, but will still have brakes, now if you take it out of line, and don't bleed the brakes, you won't have any, but it you bleed them, you'll have brakes. if they don't have enough pressure, you can get a preportioning valve from summit for under $50 and put it in the engine bay just before the line turns back to the rear of the truck, and that should solve any issues you have from removing the abs booster.

you were talking about something different than speedster93b, that is just a block that seperates the lines, i'm pretty sure the proportioning valve is over next to the mastercylinder......

yeah the proportioning valve is connected to te bottom side of the master cyl. and you were right. i just dont feel like running them. I have more pressing issues to worry about right now. I just want to get it drivabl for a couple shows, then when I take my 2 month break for my lilttle girl being born, I will put them back on.
