Motor only sat for a week and a half so Im not sure if the float would be stuck. My clear filter has been full all the time but I noticed after the last time I had it running that it never filled back up. Im going to set my fuel cell outside the truck, then hook a piece of line directly from the filter to the fuel cell, and see what happens.
Well, did like I said and hooked up the fuel cell outside the truck. Ran like a champ. Although there is an annoying squealing noise coming from the carb?? Guess I'll just go ahead and hook up the fuel cell.
check your rubber hose throughout your fuel lines. I had the same problem on my 65 mustang a few years back and we went through hell trying to figure out the problem. all it was was a kinked hose by my tank.
dude you are so not allowed to be afraid of my man love your the guy who rolls with the guy who drives a homo bread van lol

your old tank might not have been vented properly or stopped up,
and causing a vapor lock which was killing the engine........
but since the fuel cell is working sounds like u got it under control.
