I had thought about doing this I didin't ever think of using the limo parts; a good idea and definitely very doable in my opinion.

i know some broncos have it. my friends did at least. my friend was a she and i know she didnt do it.

our 82 pontiac station wagon had a sliding rear window, if you really want to start searching for parts.

that thing was a beast. V8, idled at around 30mph. try learning to drive in something that refuses to slow down. We replaced brake pads more than we changed the oil.

I remember the window took like half an hour to roll down, if you watched it.. if you didn't watch, it was like opening an air lock, suddenly you felt like you were getting sucked out the back of the car. haha.

suburbans, fullsize broncos... they all use that setup..

i think there use to be a company called power slider that made those kind of windows. i'm not sure if they had one for our trucks .

if i remember right, there is an isuzu that is green and white that they did that. pretty sure it was also right hand drive.

Powerslider did have them for our trucks. I had one and sold it to my freind when the top was cut off. It was set inward to clear the hump, and with the bench seat you couldn't tell it was there. From the outside the rails were a little narrower than the opening. I used to have a picture of it. If i can find it I will post.
