I don't own a bagged truck myself, but I am looking into one, and was wondering,

if you're going to put blocks on it to drag, is it better to bolt them on, or weld?

i wouldn't want trailer hitch balls, so don't suggest that please; but what styles of blocks can you use?

I would bolt them on rather than weld them on. If its bolted you could use 2 bolts and use a low grade bolt that would shear and just let the block swing out of the way if you hit a big bump in the road or something. If its welded to the frame it could possibly tear the frame if you hit a bump. As for blocks alot of people use Brians blocks and love them. My buddy got some off ebay that were pretty good and lasted also.

People use hitch balls? I would have never thought of that.

shittons of people use hitch balls, very shitty idea. Alot of cars have been hit by them. I have a set of steel blocks ill sell ya if your interested. I agree with elbine, welding them is bad. Plus if they are bolted in, you can adjust them and lower then down once they start to wear. I made my own titanium blocks, i cant wait to see how them babies work.

i like the trailer ball idea wher eyou can just build it so you thread them in and when they are worn down u can unthread them and thread new ones in. they dont throw as much spark as if u drag the frame tho
