This is really getting out of hand

All you Ontario guys will know about this,but I think everyone in general should take note to this.


In the past week,on one of major freeways,the 400,there have been several major fatal multi-vehicle accidents all caused by street racing.One accident last Saturday closed the highway for 17 hours while they investgated and cleaned up.

Not only are these accidents being caused by these fucktard street racers,but several people have also been clocked on radar at over 200kmh. On a 2 lane highway north of Toronto this morning at 3am,a 17 yr old was cloced at 215kmh by police radar and it took the police 15km to catch up to the speeding vehicle before they could pull the jackass over.

Just after that accident that closed the highway for 17 hours,2 Corvettes were followed and clocked by police in excess of 200kmh. Turns out both drivers were American,and with our new street racing laws,all vehicles caught street racing get destroyed. So,for these 2 idiots,they just got their $70k Corvettes turned into the world's most expensive Rubix cubes.

My question is this;

Several fatal accidents,several people dead,all caused my street racing,and people just don't fucking get the big picture. What the hell is wrong with people? Can they not get it through their heads??

The 400 is scary to drive on just about any day. I have to take the 400 to work and back every day,and when I do 130kmh,I'm having cars blow past me at easily 160kmh.

The biggest problem is that on the 400 series highways,there is very little police enforcement,so all this stuff is able to go on without the fear of getting caught. A few years ago when I was young and stupid,I got nailed for doing 154kmh and that was a huge ticket. I nearly lost my licence for 30 days. I learned from that stiff penalty,and I wish people would just get some sense knocked into them.

I mean,this is honestly retarded,in ONE WEEK. It's like all of a sudden the roads have turned into the Fast and the Furious 2 race scene on the highway with the big crash.

End rant. I wish people would just smarten up,because this sickens me,and the penalties and laws are going to end up coming down on the guys like us who have nothing to do with it.

Im from oregon and when I was younger I used to think it was cool to tear around in my rx-7. Then I went to the big house and when I was in there one of my best friends died as a result of some elses stupid driving. I couldn't go to his funeral and I was tore up. Started reading Truckin' and mini truckin' in the joint and made a vow to myself that I was done. Nothing but low and slow from me now on. Its senslous behavior to put inocent peoples life in your hands. So I here ya brother rant on!!

man!!! i heard about the new law that passed, crazy canadians!!!!! anyway i used to do that bullshit street racing i was young and stupid and at the time i had no worries at all, you know "live for today not tomorrow" plus all my friends and family were into it. i lost a friend and i still didnt learn my lesson still kept doing 135mph on the freeway. another friend of mine died and i was like "it wont happen to me" so i still kept doing it, it wasnt until a VERY good friend of mine died that i was like fuck this shit im done!!!!!! the very next day i sold the car for way less than what it was worth $700 to be exact. i guess its just one of those things you gotta go through when youre young. who doesnt wanna go fast when their kids??? my 6yr old is always saying burn out go faster its just one of those phases everyone goes through. its like what 87mazdamini said its low and slow for me now, have too many worries now, wife and 3 kids, i plan on being here awhile so no more racing just draggin hahahah

i think it was in orlando this past week that some people were street racing a 4 door pontaic vs. a minivan. wtf? if i have to die in a race i dont want to get to the pearly gates and let everyone know i lost control of my moms dodge minivan and killed a bunch of my friends. those people you are talking about sreaming around like that is a product of their parents buying them a peice of shit they don't need so they can relive their teen years through them. if they bought and payed for that stuff they would respect it a lot more.

Well it was last Monday when a friends father died in that accident on the 400 hwy and the fuckinretards that caused it has a lawyer saying I hope the judge doesn't use them as an example to others as it was a mistake and they should be given a second chance. Tell that to my friend and his new born baby that will never know his grandfather. I tell you something I have 2 kids and some great friends here on this site and around me at home and if one of them got killed by this kind of bull shiy I would kick thier asses give them life in jail and hope to god a 6.6 foot monster of a man makes them his new girlfriends. This is getting out of hand and when it comes down to it the accident that happened last Monday I hold they're parents responcible and I hope the judge does use them as a example to others what should and will happen to you when you cause others to suffer and destroy lives. I have had the worst week with people thinking that you can do what ever you want behind the wheel and I hope soon people will wake up and slow down. just my 2 cents guys sorry for ranting on.

Sounds good to me... destroying the car hurts them where it does the most good, i.e. no more wheels, no more racing...

Testosterone +alcohol +gasoline makes for a very dangerous combination.Having seen the results of each individually and in combination I can attest to their effects.My little town has a very good,well -run 1/8th mile strip where the young and young at heart can go every weekend and race to their hearts content-supervised.We have lots more folks here who kill someone DUI than speeding but ANY death on the highway is crazy and uncalled for.Everybody needs to slow down and be careful,we want all of you to be around a while longer.BJ

you know i only hope that this doesnt affect the minitruckin community. they destroy the fart cans if caught racing, what if we're caught dragging? i dont want the fuckin imports to take us down with them too, ya know. i think that instead of giving the kids the tickets they should give em to the parents and a strict fine plus a huge increase in their insurance. just my 2 cents

damn david who was that that died? i use to do all that stupid shit too. just ask david (projekt94). i use to race stop light to stop light on one of the busiest damn rodes in houston. i look back now and quinch up at some of the close calls that i had. man that was stupid. being in the marine corps i have seen more than my share of drunk driving wrecks and speeding wrecks. it isn't worth it. that is kind of why i will be building my 3 daughters each a slow and low mini. racing should always be kept on the track!
