i can't find any info on it......

so i guess they think if they crush cars, they won't end up in other idiots hands....

yet there is this crazy thing called a used car market, and even a car "dealership" woooooooo, i'll never find another fast car now that they've crushed my old one...

i don't get it.

Its more of setting an example than anything else. I would run over anyone with a bulldozer if they ever hurt my friends or family because they were drunk or racing. They wouldn't have to worry about their cars.

exactly. it's more of a deterrent, because they want you to think twice about the consequences. Get caught, lose youe pride and joy, which is your ride. Not to mention all the money you invested into it.

Plus,I don't think mom and dad would be too happy when they find out the family minivan or station wagon got crushed because little Billy went out hot rodding after school.

Hahaha true.

Heres the link that you've been looking for.

About 8 years ago in Durham Region where I live we would get up to 1500 cars (even trailored drag cars) to race on the street. Everything from trucks to pro street K-cars. It was insane and dam lucky that no one got hurt. 9 second street cars. Now you can't even cruise to the beach without getting pulled over by the cops, MTO or the smog police. Heres a few links to check out.

The local Sacramento news has been making a big deal lately about how street racers around here are having their cars impounded and crushed. It's some of the best news I've heard in a long time.

the only problem so far is that they havent passed a law where they can crush the driver in the car as well.
