yeah its an LED light. the lens is acrylic and when you sand it it will have scrachtes but you clear over it and it makes it clear again. I just ran a buffer over mine for a second so they would be clear since I'm not ready for paint.

i didnt know acrylic would buff out easily, tahts pretty cool. are pretty much all lenses acrylic, and would buff out when scratched?

I don't know if they are all acrylic but I sanded and buffed my factory tail lights and they looked better than new. You can buff headlights that are old and get all fogged up and they will turn clear again.

Definitly keep us updated...I didnt know you could Buff the lights and have them turn clean again...i thought the foggyness always came from the Inside, not the outside...
