RE-did my 4 link with pics

^^^ Why can't people in this hobby try to be helpfull to each other instead of being dicks, yea it's not a show stopping set up but an improvement over his old set up it's getting better, I do though agree that the wishbone cross member could be redone butt joints arn't the strongest to use.

seriously this is no improvement... its just as bad. Why can't people put some thought, time, effort into this stuff... its jobs like this that give us a bad name! someone is gonna see that and think jesus christ these mini truck guys are a bunch of hacks... get them off the road.

This setup is not safe whatsoever! i'll voice my opinion freely on it... its not good... im not going to sit back and pretend he did a great job and give him praise for trying... give me a break.

And no but joints are not the strongest! especially being used on a link bar! how hard would it have been to get a bar the proper length!

I am not a dick, and I would be the first person to help this guy out had he asked for advice and let people know what he was planning to do.
Here is my advice.
You tried it yourself twice. You failed both times. Park the truck until you have enough money to bring it to someone who can do it right. There's nothing saving that setup. The link bars are have nuts boogered onto the ends to make them adjustable. That 1x1 crossmember wont last 3 blocks.
People need to do there research BEFORE they attempt this stuff. Not just dive in head first and be like "hey guys check this out"
Work like this is why minitrucks have a bad name, and thats why it pisses me off.
The work sucks, and it all needs to be redone by someone with at least 1/2 a brain. If you think thats harsh, fine, but its the truth.

yeah I see what you guys are saying totally and I agree but he is trying to improve his set up.

You guys should of been at Blood Drag this year you would have loved it

he should ask for advice and do some research and look at how others have done this stuff then if he's trying to improve it.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this stuff out.

Do you have any pictures of your link set up you can post to help? or how do you think his upper link crossmember should be built

I agree with you guys. Unsafe is the main concern. I could care less how shitty your set up looks or works as long as you won't kill anyone in the process.
