5+...i was talking about the whole truck. frame, suspension, exterior, interior. probably still an overstatement, but just trying to make a point. that truck would take a long time.

and have you seen everything Seth has done on that truck. its unreal! i mean that truck is going to be MTmag worthy whens its all done...

well i went over their to talk to him today.

let me just say he was a strait up prick, i go up their and ask whom i can talk to about the mazda truck,the bastard wouldnt even get his ass up the whole time! just sat in his desk about 10 feet from the service desk.

so i was asking him questions and then i asked about the frame, he says "yea i looked at it...?" i said well i think under the bed the frame is useless and dangerous he replied prickishly "looks fine to me" i said then you havent looked at it that good then...at this point im getting a little pissed that i have to damn near shout across the room, and he thinks the damn frame is good.

I strait up told him my offer was $500, he goes well i dont know about that but ill let you have it for $800, by then i had enough of his crap and one work responces, so i simply replied "your never going to get that" and I left.

so on saturday im going to take my friends dad, have him give him a talk.

i also knew its been sitting their for a while, cuz the window sticker is faded...

if the motor is good $500~~~~NO more than that, yes the interior is kleen, & the cab, hood & fenders are in good shape, & you could make your money back if needed, but there is some serious deadwood on that truck!!! just from what i see it would take some serious work to get it roadworthy...

Don't go back. That will only show him how bad you want it. Go back in two weeks and take your dad with you then and state your same offer. I personally hate all people in sales and I used to be a telemarketer (never again lol).
Look on craigslist.org I promise that you will find a better deal in a month or two. That truck is not worth anything.

ouch, i say if the frame wasnt so busted up on the rear it would be but as hard as it is to say blares right with that frame being that busted up that bad its not worth it.

I only see it worth it you if you get it strictly for being a project truck and you completely building a frame for it and such but other than that sweat it off bro other deals will come along

nope, decided it wasent worth it, i poked a hole in the frame under the cab on the passenger side with my finger, im sure somthing better will come along. then i can save up more money for baaaags!

Werd. You made a good choice. The hardest part for me when I bought my first truck was I alittle to excited so i overlooked alot of potential problems. Just keep your eye on craigslist. It will come.

That salesman is crazy... MAJORLY uncertifiable... He should be giving it away. Although, for us, those problems may not matter if you were planning to redo all that. But of course dont tell him that.

Be like, to fix the frame, it will cost me atleast $500 to fix all the rest of the rust another $500 and anopther $1000 for paint. And mention that doning all that is ABSOLUTLEY nessasry to put it on the road... Use the problems to your advantage...

Go in at $400 stating all of the above try to end up getting it for $600.

Or wait a month... no one will buy it unless their like you whici is unlikely.

yea bro, thats how i felt too, but then i thought a second and took a real good look at it and its crap.

i was looking though craigslist and found somthing its a little furthur away, but id rather travel futher than get scammed.
