That is one of the sweetest stock interiors that I have seen on those trucks. Makes me drool.

yep my frame is starting to do that but it dont look that bad, id say roll with it yo and buy it for $500ish and bag it so i wont be the only one on the forum with a pre 84 mazda thats bagged.

truck has alot of potential, I took the mazda to a local car show and got more looks from it than full blown show trucks just cause its something you dont see everyday.

Wise I had the money to pick this up

Or hell this to

I personally dont think its gonna be worth your time or money. I know its easy to get excited about buying a new toy, but sometimes its just better to wait. A better deal will come along. I personally think that you will be throwing away 500 dollars. If all that is salavgable is the cab, the front fenders, and the hood then go to the junk yard and buy it from them. If I remember correctly you are a younger guy. Trust me from experience it is better to buy a truck that is already solid and ready to go then. Then buying a peice that your just gonna want to light on fire in a month.

i feel like in the middle of a rock and a hard place

here is what Seth (twisted minis) wrote me...a lot of people know him...

he's building this truck...

...i agree. maybe if you allready had a pre-84 mazda, and you could some extra parts. but if ur are going to try to build off of this, your looking at 5+ years, and like 5-20 grand depending on what u wanted to do with it.

parts are hard to come by, but i dont see see 5+ years. If you got the skills to back half the truck or yet build a new frame id roll with it but if not dont buy it.

but yes seth is right these motors do last a very long time, my grandpa had one that had over 300,000k on it and it still ran beautiful till he sold it.

mine has 106k and it still runs like it did the day it rolled off the factorys line.

^^^^^^
except for a blown head gasket and a bad tranny right
slammed83mazda   +1y

blown head gasket cost me $63 and 2 days to fix, tranny was my own damn fault due to me not checking the tranny oil, so it damn near ran for 6 months with no tranny oil.

it happens what can i say.
