Look nice. Honestly I like the color. Not really big on red, black or white. Gotta have a little flash of color or ya just dont' get noticed

That sir was done all with a rattle can. Sanded the body down, then wetsanded it,cleaned and prepped it,then 2 coats of primer all the way around,3 colour coats and 3 coats of clear. I also wetsanded between every coat of colour and clear ro make it as smooth as possible. I used DupliColor Graphite Wheel paint. It's pretty durable. The whole paint job cost me about $60 for paint and supplies and I have atleast 40 hours labour into it because it took me 5 days during my time off work to do it. I wanted to do a good job on it because that car was my baby and I had huge plans for it and I was a regular on cruise nights and at local shows and stuff and the car got a lot of attention because really, who modifies a Contour unless it's an SVT?

....oh and that isn't my first paint job, lol. I primered my Mazda myself, but used a gun. I used to work at a performance shop and they custom made roll cages and strut bars and stuff and I learned how to use a paint gun there and stuff, and did that for about a year. I think if I ever decide to go back to school or apprenticeship I'm going to go for autobody and paint. I painted one of my old Celicas flat black a few years ago and then I blew the engine like 3 days later.

Here's my interior from that same car. Chameleon green/purple (that Mystify 3 stage spraypaint). Ractive shift and e-brake boots. I had a matching shift knob that was aluminum and suede but I took it off for the winter because it was so cold. I also had LEDs in the speaker grilles in all the doors that lit up and green LEDs in the footwell.

I'm TOTALLY with U Immortal.

Sorry to rag on some people, but I'm kinda sick of seeing people flat black their ride and SNAP....now its custom. Sportin primer is cool for a season or two but spraying flat black just for the sake of being different (which everyone is doing it now) is silly. IMO anyways. Or atleast slap on a cool set of blue flames with white tips or something.

flat black is cool if it's an older ride and in progress. Like with me,if I dont leave it primer and do flat black,it's because I'm still saving for paint because I want to do my truck charcoal grey. If I do flat black,I'll be getting pinstriping or flames done though, just so it's not like everyone else's flat black ride.
