1dayiwill - Newer Caddies are pieces of shit because of the total junk Northstar engines they put in them.

Hmmm.... Interesting point 1day. However saying "German engineered" simply implied that certain things in the car were not standard for a Caddy. Yes these did not sell well...Why? No market for the orignal price tag. The type of traction control and the ability to switch the way the tranny shifts with a push of a button...standard on Opals...not caddys. Which is what the Catera is a knock off of...the Opal. I checked into that when I got it. Now as far as Caddy as a whole on the depreciation.... try buying a nice older Caddy....Friggin crazy. And lets not even talk about the gas mileage! lol. And you are completely right the cars that look so fugly your hand turns you down at the end of the night are usually indestructable. Dont know why or how but it works. I had an old 89 4 door nissan sentra....freakin bullet proof, shovel proof, honey mustard proof (long story) and ran for ever in first gear when the tranny finally did go out. Well there are my two pennies....that I had to take a loan out for.

1dayiwill --- This car to date has been the MOST reliable car I have ever owned. I have put over 30 000km on it in 6 months, and I haven't had a single mechanical problem with it. All I've had to do is regular oil changes and regular interval maintenance. I've had toyotas, nissans, mazdas etc,and this poor man's caddy has withstood my abuse and is running strong. Also been the best car I've ever had. I'll probably get rid of it when it's paid off in a year and a half,or I might just drive it into the ground.

But for now,it's no minitruck,but hey,it's a nice ride.

Im glad dude and I hope it stays true to you. I was just speaking from my experiences. Good luck with life and stuff bro.

Well, when I bought it,my goal was to buy a practical and reliable daily driver. So far it's stayed on track.

So the 10s lasted for like 4 days before I swapped 'em for the 12s...what a difference. Sounds like I have Sasquatch locked in my trunk trying to get out. haha

I think I've got my Chev rims sold tomorrow for like $400...so if the guy takes em,I;m getting the windows tinted next week and getting a Clarion headunit,or an Eclipse if they can't get the Clarion. Something fried in my Sony headunit and it won't hold memory even with it wired up properly. The shop's looked at it 3 times and rewired it twice and it still resets after sitting for more than 20 mins.

Alpines are killer head units as well.

My dads 03 deville is at cadillac getting worked on for something right now so they gave him an 08 DTS. Its pimp as shit but it just feels cheap to me since Ive been around the deville and know how easy shit breaks on it. Anyways, heres my driveway as of 10mins ago:

I just noticed this, its kinda cool how the glare blurred the license plates out. I dont see why people care if their plates are on the internet tho.
