yea, as the title says, this thing was rigged, the kid was right he sucked at electrical lol.. so time to rewire it all.. and i bought new 4" pioneer speakers last night fror the front and rear at circuit city (ditching the old "bolt speakers, i think by lightning audio lol"), and an fm modulator to connect my mp3 player since my cd player sucks and i'd rather just add and delete songs to my mp3 player than burn cd's and they skip because my trucks bouncy . i could probably buy a new head unit (will eventually) but this works for now.. also vacumed the thing, was nasty.. i did some cutting on my grill also yesterday, bought a speedo cable gota put that in to go back through emissions, got a mirror delete piece i lost the other day (was rigged kid had it glued) and got new wiper arms and painted them. removed an air horn setup that wasnt workin.

1. i hope to finish up the radio (just gota run new power wires to it)
2. wire up the external fan, the kid added on the front radiator to a relay then toggle switch inside,
3.want to dissasemble the rear tail lights and paint the chrome pieces black, and then paint the tails with a translucent cady apple red like i did with my bimmer, no more orange!
4. maybe get my speedo cable in..

so i should have most of my day covered i think..

this pic, the speaker there is not a new one, its a bluapunk spare i had down stairs, to test all the outputs when i was connecting the speaker wires in the back of the headunit.. the kid had, the rear two wires briged at the back of the head unit, ran 1 wire to the back seat then Y'd them to both 6x9 boxes lol.. never knew that untill i removed the seats to see it was one wire going to the back, so yea i was like, F- this, rewire time..

and fyi, if anyone does what i did, move the bulb socket as far over to the inner side of the light housing towards the middle of the truck, if u get what i mean, (i didnt realize this and centered them on the housing) so i had to cut a part of the front fender behind the light because the bulb hit, no big deal just a small hang up.. debating to smoke all the front lights and paint the grill black..

WTF?

Did you just swap the turn signal and parking light by cutting out the entire socket? You know, you could have just redone the wiring alone. Unless you wanted to have the dual filament... we dont have problems with that here, but damn thats a lot of work for it.

I've seen 1 guy here wire 3 clear LEDs in each one to the parking light, facing the outside. Next to headlight, but pointing out, inside the housing. Wasnt too bad..was like dual filament.

i wanted dual filiment bulbs and fog lights with factory light housings

I wouldnt say fog lights, lol.
