not trying to start a holy war or anything crazy like that. i was just wondering what everyones takes are on this. we were talking about it at work because a guy i work with watched something on the discovery channel about it. if you don't know what it is, look it up with yahoo or google search and check it out. i have heard about this a few years ago but i didn't know a lot about it until we got to talking. there is a lot of things going on in the universe on that day. it is pretty crazy.

from what ive gathered over the years, its the last date on the mayan calendar, theres no rhyme or reason why they made it the last date,
or no one has figured out why yet. so naturally people think its going to be the end of the world.

Personally,I don't beleive it at all because look what happened to the Mayans...are they still around? No....and haven't been for thousands of years....but the world hasn't come to to an end.

You can't predict the end of the world. There's absolutely no possible way. I beleive the only way the world will end is by the human race destroying it by depleting all of the earth's natural resources,oxygen and atmosphere and basically create a man made demise, not some crazy mysterious galactic catastrophe.
