na those are more like off a honda....try the impala i had a friend with one and thats where i seen them

I can see how it attaches to the bed floor and the gate, perfect But how did he attach the top hinge? These hinges only open 90* perfect for the bottom but would be fully extended for the top hinge when closed

only have them about 4" apart, add a frame in side the tailgate to hold it up? not sure never seen it done with these yet...it was just a thought... i like how they roll away from the body

no matter what you did you would end up with either a bracket or brace in the middle of the bed to get the upper hinge to fold flat. I love the idea. maybe build it into a sub enclosure and bench setup. would go nicely with an ol skol walk thru too

Those look like the factory Mazda tailgate hinges, just relocated to the side. That is how I did my side swing setup.
