What Have you done to your truck today?

My accident may have cost me time but it gave me the opportunity to get some much needed projects started and finished...like frame z behind the cab and a legit flat bed...also ganged me the money to purchase a welder...so the accident actually kinda helped

they usually do as long as there isnt personal harm

I'm still healing and going to the chiropractor twice a week but also trying to get ready for the cross country move

I dreamed of it ..lol

pulled the radiator out and hopefully will be soldering the pin hole in it.

walked around it with the freshly repaired lawnmower.....

i turned it around to get ready for the long push down to the barn so my dad will quit bitching and i laid the bed on the frame again. oh and rolled one fender. whew. oh and thank god for the lawnmower. couldnt have moved the truck with out it.lol

tinted the tail lights and 3rd brake light. and replaced the bulbs in the 3rd brake light since both were broken

this is what ive worked on in the last few days



sanded down my uppers and lowers, clear coated them
went with a old school look i wasnt sure if i wanted raw, a little rusty or glossy black so i incorperated all three together
pretty happy with how it turned out , i also did the same to the frame up untill the firewall


heres what i did today

Like ive said i always wanted the stamped part of a tailgate in my firewall , had to cut the lip about half way down the firewall so the tailgate can sit flush with the wiper cowl

heres with the lip:


about 2 inchs on some places too tall

and after , now needs to be smoothed out, welded in place so i can start building my firewall
