How did you get started?

The Guy said My Uncle has this truck he wants to get rid of come get it.

That was 2008. I have always seen the mini trucks around, never been to a Mini truck dominated Show till lowdown 2009, Did not realize that mini Truckers had their own Culture till 2010. I started researching my 76 Hilux and that is when I found that mini Truckers Existed.

I now have 4 mini Projects and looking for another
We have my 76 toy the wife's 91 Mazda, my 73 Datsun, a 77 toy Motor home and the wife wants a luv truck.

From what I've seen most mini truckers are in their 20's but occasionally you find an old timer that's been in the scene since the 80's.

bought my first 88b2200 from a neighbor for a great deal and was lookin for some parts and came across this site.. been on here since..

When I got my first vehicle it was a White mazda b2200 se-5 extended cab which my uncle owned and I glanced at it one or twice and wondered to my self that why would someone want this truck and knowing that I needed a vechicle I said yes and he drove it to my house a month later. and when he got there i looked at it in my drive and loved and drove every chance i got, even to get the mail which was 10 yards away then one of my freinds which is a master mechanic said this trucks looked sick lowered and always being mechanicly inclined i decided to lower it which after being repeatedly told not to by my parents. which then i figured something out called drifting then i wrecked a year later when i decided to drive slow that day which i wrecked on a wensday and found this site on that friday which i miss that truck lots and looking for another one

I grew up with my Dad workin on Nova's and Roadrunners. By the time I was 5 my favorite car was a Roadrunner. Married into cars as well. My husband and I started fixin' up our '97 Ford Escort. lol. It was what we had so we ran with it. Then he got a Scion XB. Luvd it. Always luvd trucks tho. First time I heard those airbags let out I was hooked. Then I seen one throw sparks and it was over. Just started my B2200 and can't wait 2 see wht I can do.

Since i was about 11 years old i always wanted a lowrider truck , my buddies brother had a s10 reg cab on air with wire wheels and shag carpet , shortly adfter he got a hardbody static dropped the frames about 2 inchs off the ground and its got camelion paint , it changes from brown to gold to purple to green (not all one solid colour at a time) just certian spots when the sun hits it with a big system(i have the sub box) and very short exhaust .

Unfortunately his brother is no longer alive but the trucks still in the family , its been c notched and sitting for about 2 years now

ever since i was 16 ive been looking for auto x cab b2200s , i found my first orange one but it was a hack job so i stripped it and bought a stock b2200 and now its being torn apart , bagged in my buddies garage

i got into thanks to my best friends now brother-in-law. we all worked together at a car wash and he had a bagged red single 10. at the time it was bagged with mini-notches and monoleafed in the back, but i loved how it sat on the ground. as we all worked together i watched it get a 4link, full c-notches, and slowly custom everything else so i was hooked. and before you knew it he bagged another friends s10, then lowered my best friends s10, and then i took initiative and figured out how to lower my mazda and gone downhill from there.

well it all started for me in 95 ish when seen my first mini i actually own it now its called the purple haze 87 b2k walk thru hydros and so on well i thought it was soooo tits i remember tellin my momma imma have one of them there trucks one day and the next thing i knew around about 99 i got my first dawg i was 14 drove it for a while stock then round about 01 my cuz and i got the bright idea to have the only lowered trucks in the county (i live in back woods tn ) and it all happened mono leafed choped cut 3 engines and then the scrap yard long story short i purchased 10 other mazdas over the next 6 years it became my obsession just ask tunna melt man he was there the whole time now i have the haze well whats left of her and my current hoopd 86 cab plus bobbed shave bodied and layed ive been drivin a mazda for 11 years and will never trade it for another mini just love those sexy lines and that sad puppy dog face

well i bought a house, and needed a small truck to do dump runs (needed a small truck cause a full size wouldnt fit down my driveway between my and neighbors house), i always liked the look, boxy yet slightly rounded style of these mazdas, and so i found one.

if i only had the money, it would be turbo'd, bagged and draggin... someday...lol

It seems to often there is either a shortage of space, time or money lol
