So whats trucks or builds inspired your build?

here's another truck that inspired the first build of my gray truck, im pretty sure this truck was featured in 98-99

Todd I loved that truck I rember it back when MiniTruckin was a bi monthly mag.

u all inspire me....i been in to minis since mid 80's though....to be honest one of my favorite all time trucks from the 90's era .....on was a 91 isuzu standad cab it was blue with the sweetest purple liquid drips on it ... it ran reversed ultra 6 holers and had a tilt bed...still have that issue... but one that i loved the most was a d 50 extra cab....ran a canopy....with blazer style windows... was painted by pete satini... it was charcoal with subltle 90's kinda panel graphics on the lower part....graphics like todd lucks patty joe project...i wanna say it was on saw blades and was super static dumped...it was one of my all time go to inspirations,,, i think it was aoutta arizona....i been goolging for years trying to find pics of that truck.... mitsis are one of my second fav brands ... if your asking what got me into mazda ... my first one was mazda and i am super sentimemtal about tht kinda stuff...

I got into the scene in the late 80s.Didnt have a truck of my own until 93.Its was a 84 b2000.All my friends had 86 and up mazdas,d50s,nissans(4 headlight),s10s,you name it.After Slamnfreak and I lowered my 84 to the dirt,it was like I had an instant bodydrop.I looked as low or lower then most but could still jump a speedbump.Then I got into the hydro craze and the truck wasnt the same.Back then 185/60 14s or 195/50/15s were crazy.

So I would say the local cruisin scene inspired me the most,then I picked up minitruckin mag.This was all before the interwebs,dam I feel old.

Man, there are so many the list is so long. I would say first that all of you on this forum with all of your knowledge, questions, info, builds, ideas and pics is so helpfull I am glad I joined. Other than the trucks here as far as Mazdas go, Eli from RA his trucks are well put together. The Bseries on the cover of Mini Truckin March 1999 is another one that comes 2 mind. Zack's Bseries from No Regrets, and this one Bseries I saw at Low Rollers EOSB last year it is like a mint green or seafoam color with color coded steel wheels. Very nice truck. Trucks other than a Mazda that have inspired me and my build. I like the Spacecab on the side bar. A Tacoma from Japan I think he is from a club called Outer Limits. The one with the exhuast going through the bed. Phil Fowlers Ranger from LR. The 2 Rangers done by Little Shop of Horrors. Just 2 name a few.

the mazda that was an orangish/redish color w silver 2tone w an elipse bubble moulded to oem hood on it, from about same time early 00s. i remember story in mag was he bought from his brother and they did all the work together..sorry no pic
