Steering 1986 B2000 like twisting a stump out of the ground!

I run the max pressure in almost all my vehicles and never had irregular wear, now that does not mean that others have not found the same results.

Overinflation can cause irregular wear, but "overinflation" would be more than the tire manufacturer's suggested max - which I wouldn't go over ever.

But the first thing I would do in any vehicle where I found the steering hard is put the tire pressure at the max and see.

Use tire pressures from the door jamb.

Inflating to the maximum on the sidewalls will negatively affect handling, ride comfort, and braking.
