also if someone has an old box laying around or can read the part number of these short shocks that would be a lot of helpful because you know the dumb dumbs at autozone ask for year make and model and half the time I'm asking for parts for the wrong thing on purpose.

Yea i went with the isuzu pup shocks and they aren't short enough. My truck is about as low as yours and i have went through 2 sets of shocks on the front.

Looks good bro love the tint too your truck is a night and day difference from what it was a couple weeks ago to today! And as for shocks I agree with the Isuzu shocks I have heard with a low stance like both of yours that they still bottom out. If you don't mind ordering them and waiting for a few days to get them, there are several options for slammed shocks. I've read good things about the Toxic Pro Comp series shocks. Here is a link for them on Ebay 9.5 inches collapsed and 14.7 inches extended for tucks lowered 4 inches which is probably about what you will want. Their stiffer too not as soft as the Monroe.

Or if you want to spend more money and get great shocks you can run Doestch shocks. A few guys run them on here and swear they are the best. On Ebay I could only find a complete kit (front and rear) but if you go to their site I'm sure you can buy just the front. Although if you don't mind spending the money getting all 4 brand new lowered shocks (Doestch at that) it would ride very smooth and probably lower it slightly. But here's that kit link it says coils but you're using torsions they will work.

Or there is Monroe. Very common you can get them at just about any auto parts store and they are cheap. Just find a set that has a rod top attachment not the eye hole. The bottom is an eye hole though. And find the collapsed length you are looking for. These will work a full set in front for Mazdas of your year collapsed 9.250 inches and extended at 14.375 inches which is even slightly shorter than the Toxic shocks. And they are 59 bucks shipped. Here's a link get the part number and maybe your local parts store will carry them.

Anyways those are just a few options man hope this helps.

Hell ya some good info there thanks alot. I like those expensive ones. Well i was getting ready to buy the cheap ones at my local auto store but the problem i ran into is,,,those are 9.25 like you said but the stocks are 9 5/8 they told me so my truck is dropped about 4in so what less than 1/2 in drop would do anything i would imagine?

Yeah I'm not sure but I wouldn't imagine it would be that much of a difference but that is what a lot of guys run on here. I think it's because they get the 4x4 Isuzu ones so they are a bit stiffer and hold more weight same size but won't compress as much. But I have been told by a few members on here that the Doestch are just about the best you can get for static drops. A little more pricey but those who run them, love them! When I slam mine I think I'm going to buy that front and rear kit and replace all my shocks with the lowered Doestch shocks.

Ya the 4x4 ones are even taller is what they said? Nothing is making any sense to me. Anyways i took the front shocks off because i thought they were bottoming out but nope, something is still hitting when i push the front down 1/2 inch by hand, bumpstops are gone too

I think a 7 or 8 inch shock is whats needed? I would guess if say stock is 9.5 and i lower 3in i would want 6.5 or maybe 7.5 becaus eim already losing some down travel due to being lowerd by suspension and not drop spindles (they fool the suspension) Maybe drop spindles the the torsion moved 1 spline would be better. Than stock shocks would work and a way better ride with the same height?

I don't know man there are lot's of guys on here that run your set up with the lowered shocks and have no issues. If you took your shocks out and it is still hitting on something then that rules out your shocks, and them hitting on the arms. Although I would still get lowered shocks and yes you can search around on the net and try and find something that has a shorter compressed height. And if your bump stops are removed then it isn't that. Maybe your tires are rubbing/hitting on your inner fenders or something or something underneath hitting around the frame area? Try having someone push down several times while you look under the truck and see if you can pin point it out bro.
