lowering my b2000 noob

I found it!!! Its the metal that holds the bump stop. I took the bold out and removed the bumpstop but am i suppose to torch off the bumpstop hanger thingy too?

If you have access to a grinder/torch and want to do that then yes you can. Are you talking about the bottom piece? I believe most guys just remove the entire thing. But glad you found the problem man.

My front center of fender measures 24in with stock tires,whats everyone elses with 2 splines on the torsion lowered? And i found out the truck already had those 32217 shocks Even when it was stock height.

Well after much research i figured it out. Now stock is 9 5/8 in,, the 32217 shocks some run are 9.25 (worthless). Now the ones i found are 8.3... now thats what im talking about!!!! Napa auto parts # is 94037 Im sure different auto stores have the same monroe shock under a different #! These are sick!!!!! Now im back to my bump stop brackets hitting very easy while driving! Im wondering if i cut them out ,,then i wont have a stop at all,and maybe the wheel will travel up to far and hit something or bend something. Does anyone have any experience with doing this? thx

Now i want it lower lol,,,, How much would it cost me to bag the back?

I cut off the front bump stop mounts on mine. When you lower these trucks that mount sits too close to the lower control arm. Guys used to raise them up, but I just ditched them. I used some 3 & 4 inch cutting discs. I do rub on the fenders when I hit big bumps but I'm also running balloon tires with no wheel well gap. I flipped my ball joints up front and indexed the torsions.

Nice looking clean truck.. keep it that way. Its badass.
