What about melatonin levels and vitamin D production in the body?

thats just what we need... ANOTHER government funded project that wouldn't be worth whats put into it. do you not realize thats (government funded projects) half of this countries problem already??

Neither Orville or Wilbur Wright had high school diplomas.

Every one in Noah's community who thought he was crazy while he was building a boat in the middle of the desert missed out on flood rescue..

Seems logical that those that are not interested in alternatives emphasize negatives.

Sikorsky piloted the first helicopter he built.

Maybe if the government quit funding hedonistically based abortions they would find plenty of money in the budget for other things. Maybe you don't realize that this country is economically and politically very similar to the way Nazi Germany was in 1934.

The people who were unable to get into the helicopters when Vietnam fell regretted it. The people who didn't get off the Titanic before it left port regretted it.

Those who discount what I M indicating will regret it.

Okay i actually asked a realistic question in to this crap you keep talking about but just like alot of the other questions you either skip them all together or answer everything but the actual question. Maybe you will fit right in with all the other politics and there bullshit.

nothing to do with negative.... just dont see the need for more government funded projects.... this country doesn't need another expense..... it would be more economical for brand new facilities to be built. would be alot more cost effective and wouldn't take as much time, money or effort....

Justin, I was hoping someone else would have supplied the obvious answers.

What about them?

Vitamin D is in milk.

On a ship built on the scale of Titanic, there are tanning beds. And grow lights. Full spectrum.
Room for cows, ducks, and gerbils. A submerged CITY. HUNDREDS OF THEM.

Why are these kinds of issues NOT an issue when people think and entertain ideas about long-term space inhabitation?

But when I discuss alternatives, I M attacked personally, with words like

"crap" "bullshit"

go play with your truck

This thread is for adults.

i think it has something to do with your subject lines being all over the place. its hard to follow what your saying. one min your on marijauana, next your on air planes, now your on ships.

ROFLOL Andrew.

If I had my way, LOTS of us would be ON boats, UNDER water.

Maybe someday.

In the meantime, if I M "on" marijuana, I will be the first to tell you.

And if I M "on" an airplane, I won't be able to.

I know what I M discussing here has problems that have to be dealt with. When Kennedy promised the moon within a decade, there was an astonishment and a marvel. . . .WE had NEVER done this. . .

Before someone ran a 4 minute mile, no-one thought it was possible.

Before a train was ever built, there were LOTS of discussions about how impossible and even WRONG it was.

The idea of the Hoover dam was criticized.

Electricity.

Can you imagine going back 200 years with a toaster? Pretend you had a stainless steel, bright shiny two slot. And you got shot back in time with it.

So you are standing there when the crowd walks up and sees it and you. What are you going to say?
Where are you going to plug it in?
What do you think the crowd would do to you, after about 90 seconds?

Remember Star Trek?
Remember the communicators?
Flip open cell phones did not exist.
Remember the phasers?
Tasers did not exist.

Before we experience technology in real time, we envision it in actuality, in a place inside our head.

You knew you could ride a bicycle before you ever did it successfully.

see this is why your confussing. in saying your on i mean that your on the subject of. i could care less what your "on" as in doing. has nothing to do with me or what im on or "on"

So you attack me for asking a realistic question? Maybe this is why you cant get anywhere in the way of getting people on board with your ideas. I was in no way being a smart ass or a critic. I simply wanted to maybe try and get a piece of what you are trying to do. In return i get attacked by you. You will get nowhere with people doing that. And in reply to your answer you act like you can have a small city in the titanic. You do realize the titanic though big was not huge. If you put cows and tanning beds and this and that for people to live you will have left over enough room for like 3 to 400 people tops. What kind of living is that? How much money would it take to raise the ship for 300 people to inhabit? You bring up me bashing you but not bashing space living. I have always thought that space travel and exploration though cool is a big waste of time and money. What have we gotten from it? some WD-40? And that was just invented to help with something going on up there not even from something that was found up there. There has not been anything to date that would even entertain the idea of all the billions that have been spent on the project.
