What's up strangers?! Just checkin in again. Been a while, that's for sure.

Last time I checked in, I was rockin' a 2005 Mazda 3 GT hatchback. I recently sold that and picked up another 1991 Honda Accord.

I'm 3 weeks into this build, but I had to drop by and show it off, just due to the ride height.

Specs & mods:

'91 Accord EX-R F22A6 2.2L 140hp, Auto. Sunroof, PW,PDL,PM, 4 wheel disc brakes, AC, tilt etc.

Current Mods:
Tenrai axle back exhaust
AEM short ram intake (in the mail awaiting arrival)
Tenzo R strut brace
JDM 1 piece OEM headlights (These are stupid rare and sell on ebay for like $350. I found these in the junkyard for $75!)
1993 Accord front bumper with 1992 Acura Legend sedan front lip
1993 Accord coupe trunk lid, tail light conversion and SE coupe spoiler
1995 Accord 3 piece rear bumper lip modified to fit
1991 Prelude 3 spoke steering wheel
JVC head unit
Cheapo coilover sleeves
1/8" red pinstripe on the body moldings

Here's the car when I first bought it, on July 12. Oh, and I only paid $500 for it!

This front bumper is also from the gold car I took the trunk from, so it's been colour matched as well. Again, another one of my fantastic rattle can jobs.

What else is new in life? Not a whole lot. Currently working as a sales consultant at a Mitsubishi dealership. And still have a soft spot for B series!

If you remember my silver '02 B4000 I used to have, one of my friends now owns it and its got over 450 000km on it and still going strong!

Hey Mikey! Good to hear you are still kickin up there. The honda is looking pretty good for a daily. Not sure how it will work when the snow fly's but what the heck

The car on the far left in the 7th pic you posted looks like it could be a bunch of fun.

Don't know if you heard but the purple truck has a new owner. Guess it was time for a change after 21 years of ownership.

Don't be such a stranger, check back in a little more often ....

21 years a damn long time! Hopefully it went to a good home. Do you have a ne wproject you're working on? Does your daughter still have the green and black truck?

The car in "the 7th pic" was my Mazda 3. I just sold it this past week. As much as I loved it, I just saved myself 48 more car payments. The guy that bought it only lives a few blocks away from me too.

As for how low the Honda is...well, I'll be buying a 2nd one as a beater. This will be the one I build up. I'd rather have 2 older cars and pay $60/mo for insurance than have the Mazda and the Honda costing me $450/mo for payments and insurance.

Yeah the purple truck went to a decent home. He has already taken it to a few shows from what I hear. My daughter still has her green dragon truck although she does not drive it much.

Was thinking that was your Mazda 3 but did not want to assume....

As for a new project, well it's not really a project as much as it is something fun to drive. As with any vehicle, you know I will never be able to leave it alone for ever LOL. Guess maybe it's time I post something about that as well.....

Sweet bro, good to see you...and hear from you. Liking the Honda. You always were the rattle can king lol.
crazymikey   +1y
That Challenger is sweet! Before I moved to Alberta, I used to build all the seats for them and the 300s/Chargers.

I'm already sick of the crappy ride with the coilover sleeves, so I ordered some 2" drop springs lastnight. It'll raise it up slightly and give it a more daily driver friendly stance and ride.

^ that is one of the major issues with a super slammed daily. If you dont live in sunny southern Cali where all the roads are perfect - it gets to be a bit painful rollin that low.

And I have to agree with Hotdog on your "king" status. Pays to have skills

and just wth are you gonna do with that plow when it snows out there in another couple months?!?! lol
crazymikey   +1y
Ill be more than likely be purchasing a 2nd vehicle for winter beater duties. I know a guy with a b2600i 4x4 but he just won't sell it.

Well....back again. lol. Gotta check back in with my Bscene brothers.

I've found a nice little red 89 Cab Plus for $500. Nice shape, good newer Toyo Open Country ATs on it. Just needs valve seals. Debating to pick it up as a flip project to turn around and make some cash on. It's at the wreckers. Old man owned it and drove it in. "She's startin' to burn a little bit of oil. Time to put 'er out to pasture." Only has 236k KM's on the clock.
Seems like something I could fix up and make a few bucks on.

In other news, I no longer have the Accord I posted earlier in this thread. In September, I found the 1991 Accord SE that I used to own after I got rid of my silver '83 B2000. On Christmas Day 2009, I bought this Accord for $800. In June 2010, I traded it for a 1991 Jetta. Then I went through the whole Mazda 3 thing, and ended up with the grey Accord in this thread.

I ended up trading this grey Accord straight up for my old silver one! Had to make a 5 hour trip (one way) to go get it, but I'd been longing to find this car since getting rid of it.

September 17, 2011 was my lucky day that I went to go get it back in my hands.

I missed this car, and luckily it wasn't abused or trashed by the THREE owners it went through since I had traded it off for the VW. This car worked it's way north from Lethbridge, to Calgary, to Airdrie to Edmonton, and finally back home to Lethbridge again. One of the owners got a nice privacy tint job done on it, so I'd like to thank whoever did that and saved me $250.

Surprisingly, my 18" wheels were still with it...but completely trashed. I'm rolling on a set of 5 spoke 15" CSA wheels I found at the wreckers until I can pony up the cash for new 18" rubber.

I just had a little TLC to do to it once I got it home. Just been working on some little mods. Trying to modify it using OEM parts. I'm looking to go for a factory looking car with lots of little touches done to it.

Exterior:
-1994 Acura Legend front lip
-1995 Accord 3 piece rear lip
-Blackhoused OEM headlights
-Bumper signals wired up to function as parking/signal lights using Honda Civic sockets
-1993 Accord SE coupe trunk lid and spoiler (same one that was installed on the grey car. I kept it and repainted it)
-Privacy tint
-Red out tails
-LED strip light for licence plate

Interior:
-Factory black leather w/heat
-1991 Prelude 3 spoke steering wheel
-Variable speed intermittent wipers installed from 1995 Accord (90-93 Accords only have single stage intermittent wipers)
-1997 Cadillac STS rearview mirror with integrated compass
-1994 Ford Taurus Double DIN coin tray/cupholder
-1997 Accord map light
-1994 Buick Regal C-pillar dome/reading lamps
-High rise centre arm rest from 1991 Accord EX-R
-Acura Legend leather grab handles

Audio:
-Old ass Sony headunit
-6" AC Delco components modified to fit the 4" pods in the front doors
-Factory 6x9s in the rear

Suspension/Wheels:
-1.75" Tanabe lowering springs
-18" Falken Hanabi rims
-15" CSA 5 spoke rims
-Tenzo strut brace

Performance/Engine:
-Short Ram Intake
-2.5" Option Group catback exhaust
-NGK wires
-Cruise delete

This is what I started with in 2009/early 2010. I only had this car for 6 months before I got rid of it.
