Done a little more work on it.

93 V6 4x4 chrome grille, sprayed the inside cab floor and rear wall with rockerguard, wired up a spoiler LED brake light from an Acura Vigor, amber 194 LEDs in the corner lights, painted the wheels silver, sprayed inside the wheel wells with rockerguard, and just generally getting it cleaned up.

Just ordered a pair of H4 headlights, clear corners and clear bumper signals from ebay.

Running great. Has a small exhaust leak, and I've got a new muffler to put on it.

Fun little truck, but I still prefer a Mazda any day. I almost traded it for a B2200 already, but the kid had a static drop with a 6" notch and the bed was all cut up. I need the truck for hauling and daily driving, so that put me off it, which was a shame because it was a really nice truck.

This weekend's work:

Selling a how to guide right up your alley
Very popular conversion over here.

lol, I've already put more work into this truck than I've needed to. It's becoming a project in itself and has already eaten into my car's build fund. I've already spent about $350 on maintenance and mods....when I need $500 to buy my H22A4 for my Accord lol.

Anyways...only took me 9 days to decide to finally start to lower it...Just a little rake in the front. I have 3" blocks in the garage just screaming at me to install them...

cool little truck! i thought the toy 2.2 engine was a little more ballsy than the mazda 2.2 and 2.6...

and you would be surprised what a plastic bedliner does for hauling when your bed is rusted through in multiple spots... my 4x4 bed has been repaired slightly, mainly on the sides to hold the bedsides up, but the floor has a few spots that i never patched. it can still hold a good amount of crap. (just make sure there is still floor where the frame supports are under the bed, and mounts obviously!)

Surprisingly this truck is more solid than any Mazdas I've had. One small hole around the drain plug in the driver's footwell, and that's it for the cab. The bed floor and wheel wells are completely solid, only some surface rust sprouting. Frame rails are immaculate. I can't beleive it, even with 278k on it.

This 2.4 engine is a real slug. Mazda 2.2's feel like V8s compared to this thing. Even with a cone filter, new plugs and wires, new pcv valve, no cat, 2.25" Midas Turbo muffler and dumped exhaust, fresh rear end and tranny fluids, this thing can barely get out of it's own way.

I've constantly been doing little jobs on it here and there. It's turning into as much of as a project as my car, but I need to make it "mine."

Recent work includes H4 conversion, clear corners and bumper lights, painted lower bumper valance, tach cluster and the exhaust work. Debating to ditch the rear bumper for a smooth look, but I kinda like it still. Also on the fence about new tails. They have some sweet LED tails for these trucks for $99 on ebay, or I could just go with the OEM style red/clears. I just took my tail lights apart today and sprayed the housings with chrome paint, cleaned the bulbs and lenses and resassembled them and polished ans clearcoated the lenses.

Here's a couple shots of the truck from the last few days.

Also converted my car to front AND rear 1995 Prelude seats last week. That was some work to get that done!

Also, for you Alberta guys, or anyone in general, we've recently got a reg cab short box B2600i in at our local wrecker in very good shape. Bubble hood, front bumper with the chrome strip on the top, chrome bezel tails, slider window, decent 4x4 box and fenders. It's red on grey. If anyone might want me to snag some parts from it, I'd be glad to.

Alright, I finally lowered it lol

2 leafs and 3" blocks. This thing rides smoother than any Mazda I had, and it doesn't bottom out either. Strange why it's so different when it's the same setup on both.

Hey Mikey - nice looking little Toyota ya have there. Funny how they do ride differently - had a friend with a lowered Toy and it rode pretty good for how much drop he did.

Sold the truck today. Wasn't practical enough as a daily driver for me. I've purchased a modified '91 Accord wagon as my daily now.

I like your Honda.... said nobody ever.... hahaha whats up man its been a while?

I get lots of compliments on my Honda.

Anywhoo, here's the wagon I just snagged for $1000. This thing is SWEET.

Runs awesome, just needs an upper balljoint and new rubber. Came lowered on 17s, with the full stereo system and a huge bin full of extra parts. Totally scored an awesome deal.
