appreciated once more and i'm manual, right now im sitting with the whole harness over the side of the truck wondering how the wiper motor will work now lol, do i just seperate these wires from the bundle and leave them alone and re-ground the black one. or do i have to re wire this in somehow? my trucks gonna be down for a few weeks so i'm just gonna go ahead and clean up all wiring i really didn't want too. at first but eh free time and nothing else to do to her.

computer is loose and disconnected, there is a thick white plastic piece with the wires attached inside that was mounted on the computer, im sure i take this off, but Also can I pull it through with all the adapters that connect to the comuter or snip them off right there? and there is a green and red wire running from my wiper bundle important?

the wires for the wiper motor are part of the bundle that go back up inside the dash towards the steering wheel / driver side. the ground goes the opposite way and heads toward the front of the truck. i used an exacto knife to carefully slice open the tape and plastic, tracing the wires from the wiper motor back until they were free from the harness. you will either need to cut off the large rubber grommet/gasket or slice it enough to pull the wiper motor connector through.

for trans wires, i had just asked about those a few days ago. here's the thread:

EDIT: Now that I think back, IIRC, there is only one more connector that goes inside the cab (besides the two for the computer), and the wiper motor is part of it. you've got to clip off the rest of the wires on that connector (on the harness side), but not the blue ones for the wiper.

alright thanks im slowly finding it lol. right now im at slicing the bundle apart for the wiper motor, i disconnected it outside at the motor itself can i pull it from inside the cab out? the bundle i mean or should i wait till the wiper bundle is seperated, sorry for the loads of questions, this is really the first time going this far with something like this.

May be able but I doubt it. I couldn't reach the connector from the inside or out.

You only need four blue and one black wire from that harness. Just keep undoing the harness and unplug the computer then pull everything through the hole. It won't matter which direction since you have to cut every thing.

Because you don't want to cut the large grommet you'll need to clip all the wires you are removing.

Don't for get to wrap the wires still left in the grommet to stop any leaks.

Well it started pouring the rain on me so i got pushed inside errrr damn i need get my garage cleaned out. But as far as I am rigt now I have the bundle completely disconnected from under the hood and inside the kick panel from the computer.

Now before i get any further just for clarification if i cut the connectors that run to the computer i wont have issues reconnecting with my wipers correct? and also there is a green/red wire running from the wiper bundle, i've kept it and the black ground ( will be grounding it at another point) as i accidentally cut it not realizing what it was for but i cut it right at the ground point so plenty of wire on it still. But just curious if the green/red wire does anything anyone knows of? i See you posted i just need the four blues and the black ground, ust making sure before i do anything with it.

All you need is the four blue wires and one black. You don't need to cut them. Another option is to unclip the wires from the computer connector. You can use a straightened paper clip to push in/up the connector and pull out the wire.

Apologies for the long post ahead of time, and if missed something or did it wrong let me know. I know that as of right now i did mess up the wire leading for my rever lights and the clutch must be engaged to start wire lol sorry idk tech terms for it. But this is an easy fix I know which wire it is. Now Merciless had said the wiper motor " bundle " goes to it's own harness if i read it correct, but if there are the blue wires on the computer hookups, just in case i'm going to push them out as Dan offered.

Now for he pictures, as i mentioned i got rained out, tomorrow is my birthday woohoo 25 lol. but it will be spent doing what i haven't been able to in over 4 years of not owning a vehicle. drinking a few and finishing this up.

Ok in this picture the connected wire with the large rubber grommet? around it leads into the computer bundle just making sure it isn't anything important. maybe to me just seems like it would be the connector from the ignition which turned on the computer?

Obviously this next picture is the bundle all wires etc , can i just snip all the unneeded connectors on this end?

Now, in the top left had corner is the gasket i need to cut to allow the wiper motor connection to come through. Could i use a silicone to reseal it if i get a clean enough cut? Also i'll be re routing my amp wire through this hole, probably get me some extra 8 gauge wire as well in the process.

I didn't think to get a picture of it, but where the alternator and starter wires run down and to their respective places there is a rubber grommet, like many i dealt with in the bundle, but it's attached to the block, and i can't get it loose any suggestions for this one? i wasn't able to really get a good look as i was just getting to it when the rain came in. But if i get enough extra power wire from my amp i will probably re run a new starter line as well since i'm doing the alternator next. Are the starters hard to get to on these trucks, or this connection itself?
