What are you doing/did you do today?

There's under 1/8 inch play when I used used a 24 inch screwdriver to pry. But my guess is that it's not in great shape.

Since O'Reillys & AutoZone (Anchor #8095) is $33 + 10% tax (and special order), I see where I can get the exact same part at RockAuto for $11.31 + 8.50 shipping or $16 shipped (Ebay retailer). Then I'd just install it next time I get the truck on jack stands when the weather gets a little better.

Looks like very straightforward R&R, could use my electric impact wrench on the four rear crossmember bolts.

For some reason, they use a nut and bolt to hold the crossmember on. You need to put a wrench on top of the crossmember to hold the nut. If you do that, you can use the impact.

They aren't that tight, at least mine weren't and I'm pretty sure the torque spec isn't that high...

I took some parts off my truck today, then I ran out of parts to take off, so I stopped:

Off today. Took my daughter to a birthday party this morning and then did some tig welding this afternoon then blew up my compressor using my plasma...
