I jacked the cab off my frame this morning. Going to roll the frame out from underneath probably tomorrow.

I oiled my ceiling fan today, had become noisy.
My mechanic thinks the slight noise/vibration in my '88 B2200 might be due to worn-out motor mounts, which are the originals. Anyone got play-by-play to replace them? Thanks.

HAHA! I figured you would say something about that Cusser.
As far as motor mounts go, its a very simple job. take the nuts off the motor mounts (2 total each mount, on top and bottom) I used a 2x4 on the oil pan with a jack, and lifted it enough to pull the old ones out. Put the new ones in place and lower the jack. Put the nuts back on and tighten em up... Job complete. Should take less than an hour.
I blew out both of my motor mounts completely in half when I jumped my truck about 4 feet in the air, haha. On the drive home the shifter would move to the right about 4 inches during acceleration/load from the torque of the engine. Ended up doing the tranny mount at the same time too.
Tranny mount was a little more involved but not bad at all.

Found out today i get the pleasure of going to North Dakota for work for the next few weeks. Not excited at all.
It should pay for new flooring in the house though and possibly some new mazda parts. Gonna be a cold bitch though...

Trust me if i could sell my house i wouldnt live here.
Its cold in Colorado but North Dakota is a different level. Last trip it was -50 with windchill and i worked a 50 hour shift. I pretty much stand outside the whole time.

I just took this picture this morning on my way to work while waiting for a train.
Note, I was not in my Mazda lol. We had a 4km/h wind, and that made the windchill -42 Celcius.
