Custom tails

So I started this project last weekend. I wanted a kick a$$ set of tails since I have acomplete set of clears on the way. My contents for these tails consist of a set of four Grote led tails for semis and the such, and later included a set of mini driving lights as new backup lights as well as a set of bodies for all this to go into.

And this one mostly done an mocked up(notice the mini driving lights), just need to smooth it out and repaint.


The first one took me about 16+ hours to figure outall the crap to make this work. The second only took about 6 or so. I will take more pics when I get them done which should be within the next few days, hopefuly.

great idea. i've been looking for something unique to do with my tail lights. when your done can you post pics and give us an idea of cost.

LOL, just kiddin. Good idea - will probably look better than the LED replacement bulbs that I am using.

Leland is running some LED lights, you can check them out on his Build thread (Link Below)... He just doesn't have his lenses yet.
