im gonna have to apologize too, your name is very similar to the name of one of the parts guys that we have on the site. some one copying your idea withing weeks is going to happen everywhere you go. if you do something cool to your truck you havent seen before people will notice and they do follow trends. before this post was put up i already was running quad leds in my rear end. had them wired to still have independant turn and stop lights but they all acted as running lights instead of just the brake lights doing that. now my left and right sides have no independant turn/brake. its run thru both bulbs, with with the way im wired if i do the quad dump truck tail lights it would look even better. i hadnt thought about semi lights until i saw the custom buckets here. its like the idea i originally had when i hadnt seen it done before and bettered by a hundred times.

no im not upset with devb22. it was really late late night and i misread dvsdev to be devb22. come on you cant tell me if you werent paying seriously close attention that there is no way you could have screwed that one up... lol i thought it was devb22 telling me that i shouldnt mass produce anything yet he does that himself with his 4link sets... i thought i was being shot down by someone who would have been bein a hypocrite. but it was my mistake in misreading names.

So any new progress pics?
I've started making mine now, (it's fall here which is a good time to do indoor projects) so I picked up some square pcb's and cut up a old light housing to see how i'm going to do it.
I'm thinking of doing radial circles of the led's, kinda like what a skyline has or a diamond pattern, but I'm not too sure yet as it might look pretty lame once I make a start and could just end up being a massive square of led's

I'm working on mine, if that's what you mean, got my bulbs, boards and resistors.
All I need now is time... to redo some of my wiring, doh.

Here's a link to the guys forum I got the bulbs from

i was gonna do this a while back to my clears but i couldn't find the right size lights with the amout of led's locally..i have an electronics buddy that likes to build stuff...he wants to put 100 leds per single bulb in my tails..he's trying to figure out the board now..lol..i've been working on this for alittle while now..lol..figured i'd say something since it's going around...

Well I got mine done, they're not as sexy looking as your round ones are going to be but I like them.
I went for a pattern instead of a grid layout, this worked against me in the end as I couldn't fit as many of them into the allotted area as I would've liked, but there's no reason why I can't make another set in the future.
They're mounted to a metal panel that's painted silver so behind the lens they are almost completely invisible when they're not on... it also hides my horrible cutting and bending of the metal to follow the shape of the housing.
Anyway, here's some pics to encourage you with your build I hope.
