motor un-install

ok, hoepfully ill pick up the motor i got from shcreff this week/weekend.
any tips and all in taking it out and putting the new one in?

89 x-cab...with 5speed..

how do i drain the tranny fluid? i looked at my s10 and didnt see a drain plug for the trans, i can figure out the oil and antifreeze..

Not sure didnt drain it...LOL. Just make sure you take your shifter off. I kinda forgot and was what the hell is holding this damn thing in there. LMAO. The only thing I drained was the antifreeze. Your going to get gear oil when you slip the tranny from the drive shaft. Other than that I wouldnt worry about the tranny fluid.
