93 RX-7 Twin Turbo

So I just got done driving around a 93 RX-7 twin turbo and believe you me it was a kick in the pants! My buddy who owns it wants to swap in a 350 (why I don't know) and said he would sell me the engine for $2000.00 with tranny. Will it be a pain to swap the engine & wire it or what? (seems like it to me) Has anyone ever done a rotary swap? Some info would be great. The motor itself has 46,000 miles.

I've never heard of it done but I have saw an older rotary in a mazda and it easily fit. It wasnt a turbo or anything though.

Im pretty sure the older mazda rx7 motor an trannys bolt right in...Go to then have alot of info on the compatabilty

but i am going with an sr 20 det,

both would be a pain in the ass but the end result will be wicked, my ricer buddies are stoked on building a mazda/nissan colabo
