drifting truck what motor?

oh I wasn't going to put in a rx-7 irs i was going to grab the lsd from an 84-85 rear axle

the 84-85 rx-7 has a solid rear axle the only ones with Lsd's are the ones with rear disc brakes i would like to take the entire rear axle and throw it under my truck and redrill the front hubs to match but...

i think the rear axle from the rx-7 will be too narrow so... ya...

And i wouldn't mind running a rear axle as long as it is a 4-link

And southernrazed where abouts are you i'd like to come by and take some pics of the front motor+tranny mounts

the shops out in dunnville i can snap some in a few weeks when im out there......ok..yea the lsd will help out tons...where are your engine from?

haven't picked it up yet i'm thinkin an engine shop in markham

i converted my truck to the 12v head off a mx6, and put all the fuel injection on it.....i was gonna run turbo, but instead of all the hassle of intercooler piping, b.o.v.'s cooling and lube of the turbo... blah...blah...blah... i just put a header on it, and am in the process of fabing up brackets, and pully for an eaton m90 i pulled of a thunderbird in the J yard.... with a piggy back afc and prolly in the neighbor hood of 10 psi.... im hoping for 200 h.p.


the fuel injection and more valves alone made the a$$ wanna swing out..... OH YEAH!!!!! i gotta lsd off a gsl-se in my truck... u wont even need to worry about makin power if u dont have that

I have an 8" stock nz market truck clutch pack lsd in mine. its modified to be more tight. lsd is essential if you make more than 100hp.

pop a ls1 or lt1 in there. shell have no problem drifting. im slamming a ls1 or a ls2 in mine.... hehe

Just do that and move the motor back like 6 inches and you'll be good.
