u can use the mx6 block but the dizzy would be in the rear so u either need to make a new firewall or get MSD. the intake manifold points to the firewall so u would need to make a bracket to flip it forward. and u could get the gt one with a turbo. mazdatruckin.com has more info on it.
thanx id really like to do the mx6 but this is my first swap so i dont really know if there is someone local who could help i would pay for some help n direction
does the miata and mx 6 motor work with the 2.2 trans and motor mounts
well i know that you can use a miata tranny on our trucks if you swap the bellhousing the tailshaft so i would assume it was vice versa as well.
im seriously thinkin about the miata swap or the 4g63 swap in the future. to bad my engine is a fresh rebuild and runs to good and reliable to just swap out at the time

does miata motors fit 2200 mounts
BP is same bellhousing as RX trannys.
KLZE DOES have a rear wheel tranny. MPV that came with the V6.
Do a 96 block (solid rotating assembly) and a 99 head(adjustable rockers and turbo manifold will mount) If you can get the 99 harness and pcm thats a plus but if not do a mega squirt. I was thinking about the same swap and have buddy that is a miata enthusiast that works for gm! haha
This might help has info on Bellhousings and other engine families.

what are you smoking? because i want some!
rx != bp/b6
kl/kf/k8 != je
if you are trying to tell me that the k series and J series V6 engines share the same bell pattern, you had better have pics to prove it. when you post them, i will electronically lick your feet :-)
the rx/bp thing is definitely not true though.
till then, no, not close.
