I just grabbed a few good frames from the youtube vid. He reckons he has some stills of the thing, and a vid of the tow job. Hopefully he'll post them up soon and I can put them up here there and everywhere

awesome burnout! since your pickin parts from the van for the ute, what engine does the bongo/friendee/e2000 have in it, is it the 12v F series? if so, interested in sellin the head?

Dude,

A) it's a 2.5d
B) I'd be more interested in hacksawing the head in half than shipping an antiquated 12v POS half way across the world. What you want are 16 valves

Ah I see, don't blame you on the diesel...., but as far as the 12v head, they may be a POS compared to the 16v versions, but hey, it would deffinatly flow better than my 8v head, and would hold me over till I source a 16v motor....which may be quite some time as I'm just now supposed to get my 8v motor back from the machine shop after 3 years, so I'll play with it for a while, then if I can source on of the 12v heads, I might be inclined to swap heads on my motor just to see what kinda extra power 4 more valves would get....but you are correct about the 16v, if had it to do over again, (which at the time I started my engine build, I didn't know about the 16v engines) I would have sourced one of those, and made myself a wicked turbo'd ute like you have...like they say, hind sight is 20/20....

Merry Christmas!

Mate, if you want 12v, get an mx6 f2t and use wasted spark with megasquirt, easy

That's a good swap too. My point was, why ship one across the world when you have them at home AND they are nothing special. Just ditch the dizzy and you are away laughing
