hot air can make a hose bulge, just like hot water can. Is the pump cycling the water like it should?

How can I check if it is?

disconnect the hoses from the radiator... use a 5 gallon bucket full of water.... jack the truck up high enough to get the bucket under the truck.... put the bottom hose in the bucket.... start the truck.... water should come out the top hose.... only allow your truck to run long enough for you to see if there is water flowing out of the top hose.... it should only take around 30 seconds to empty the bucket..... shut the truck off befor the bucket emptys.... the top hose should flow as quickly as the water coming out of the bucket..... now to check the flow of the radiator, while you still have the hoses off of it, run water thru the fill hole or the top hose inlet.. it should flow as quick as the water going into it

I ended up putting that off as I don't have the money too now. I think I will try the bucket thing in a day or two but otherwise I am just going to have to wait until I get a new job and some money cause I just don't have enough..... Oh what a nightmare this truck has been lol.

thats part of building them though.. the main thing is is though it is a pain in the ass you learn alot from them.

True I have learned a lot and am great full for it just wish it all didn't cost soo much money because now I am just hoping to get my truck on the road... I was supposed to get it painted, spray in bed liner, new seats and much much more but now none of that will be happening for a bit just because of all my other major expenses... But I'd rather have a good strong running truck then a nice looking one that breaks down all the time.
