The Mitsubishi starions used those same motors. That might help if your trying to find some diagrams and such.

Besides, the moderator here is somewhat of a prude; I've had to tone down or change my avatars here several times already.

Okay well since it looks like I'm going to be stuck with this truck for a little while longer (it didn't sell on ebay) Does anyone know how to adjuster the idle and air/ratio on this thing? There are about 5 different screws on this electric carb argh!
I was able to track down a few vac leaks and plugs up the hoses, along with all of the other work that I've done to this pile, but it's still doing the same old thing. It doesn't idle when you stop it's like it's loading up and just shuts it's self down. The it's a PITA to get it to start back up. But the truck starts up fine on the first try pretty much every time, and will stay running for hours until you try to drive and then stop, or put it in gear and then stop.
Do these trucks have a IAC sensor? like a idle air control sensor?

I promised myself not to post here anymore, but one more time to help a lady in where the primary butterfly shaft exits the carb body and where the throttle wire attches to the carb body. There should be an idle adst screw somewhere close to there.Air/fuel on that carb is probably contolled by the o2 sensor electrically and my guess is no adjusto.By the way have u changed the o2 sensor?.Finally,my guess on good starting and dying when u stop is a hole in ur float or a float that isnt adjusted properly. That is a 21 year old carb.On maz 2200s there is a sight glass on the drivers side of the carb that u can use to check proper float level, but not sure about the carbed 2600.Might take a peek at the divers side of the carb to see if there is alittle glass window that u can use to check proper float level.Adios.No more posto.BJ

nope not a glass window on it, that was the first thing that I was looking for. I've found allot of info on the 2200 but nearly nothing on the 2600 and it's killing me. But yes I replaced the o2 sensors, because I know that the electric carb uses the o2 sensor to adjust the idle. I did mess with the idle air screw and it did run a little better. but same old stall when stops and pretty much I can not start it unless I let it sit for about a hour or so. That is why I thought it may be loading itself up.

oh sorry o2 sensor not sensor(s) there's only one and it's a single wire one.
