engine swap idea ;.)

OK troops,i AM NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF A 91 mAZ 929s with the DOHC 3.0 liter V-6.automatic,RWD 4 wheel discs,LSD and two blown heAD GASKETS WHICH i WILL FIX THIS WEEK END.If anyone is real serious about the swap and needs parts let me know.Otherwise,this is a two owner nice old car and I may just drive it for awile.Lol.BJ

Hey BJ, you wanna post up some pics of the engine for us. I'd like to see what she looks like stuffed in there. I'm pondering a few swaps and I have a doner truck to play with in the spring with my father. We were looking also at the MPV 3.0 but haven't researched the performance output that it can have with minor tuning.

I was almost set on a 302 but then i wanted to research more, the thing is I don't know in depth detail about wiring/tuning for jap stuff. I'm sure the MPV swap would go smooth with minor set backs.

I almost did that last summer! I got a B for $400 ans could've got a great running 4wd 5sp v6 mpv for $100 from my fiance's grandparents, but couldn't weld so gave up on it.

This would be a seriously killer ride if done properly, people interested should look into the j series v6's further there was at least one turbo variant in japan, can anybody say skyline eater (maybe thats taking it too far but add turbo tho the above....)

$500 awd...tranny work needed. Wonder if the auto b2200 will bolt up? Question is if I were to tackle this who would be willing to be the brain behind this? I am motor illiterate but willing (more than willing) to learn.

Run twin turbo setup...use a miata tranny, because these match up to the BP trannies, and call her done. Ultra light, 200+ boosted hp. And not to mention......EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE!!!
