well man its all up to you what you want to run.
I have a:
5 gallon tank slim tank (mounted under bed)
Viair 380 (cause i wanted to pump to 180psi)
3/8ths line and valves(didnt want it to fast it is a minitruck lol and my daily)
I have GC valves on the front(I bought the valves used. they leak a bit but they are still decent valves)
GravityWerx torsionkit (Cheap and great quality)
I have no gauges except the one on my tank.
Im want to run a parallel 4 in the rear with a watts.

Is this your daily? Do you want to hop? Yadada what are u looking to do
grid_lock   +1y
yes its my daily, dont want to hop, want to go front and back. what i really want to do is throw sparks. but i want it to work/look good and make me happy trhe first time. dont want to do it more than once (unless i uprade later on).

Cool I would recommend a 5 gallon with a 450 or 380 (380s gonna give u more pressure, while 450 fills to 150psi quicker)
3/8ths I think is fast enough for a daily (IMO)
A good way to save some money is to buy one of the kits from SD it will knock at least a good hundred dollars off the price.
If you have an AC compressor that doesnt get alot of use you could always try to get it EDC'ed, but i would still recommend a compressor

i dont really care how long it takes to fill. are you talking about buying the full kit rather than individually? and have you heard about pnuematic switches and if so were can i get some?
low87dawg   +1y
im gonna buy the kit from sd for 1099.99 it has 1/2" fills 3/8" dumps but i want to see if they will change them to 1/2" dumps ,and it also comes with 2 5 gallon 8 port tanks and two viar 450's

Do you plan to run either 1/2 in hardline or 5/8in airline? If not.. the 1/2 in dumps or lifts won't gain you anything if you hook it up correctly. Because the airline is measured by the outside diamater and the valves are measured by the inside. 1/2in line is really 3/8in on the inner diamater. So unless you plan on upgrading airline later.. its not going to give you anything extra.

All depends what you want personally, and how much you're willing to spend. The guys who already replied pretty much summed it up..

I have a front to back setup on mine, with 1/2" Fills and 3/8" Dumps.. I adjust my lift speed with one of these right before each fill:

Theyre pretty small, and if you ever find a small leak somewhere, you can shut these while youre parked for a while so you dont lose all your tanks air.

Remember 1 450-460 per 5-6 Gallon tank.. and if you want gauges, you have a few choices.. but like my setup, I have one single needle for the tank, and one dual needle that reads the front pressure and the rear pressure.

Bags are kind of a personal preference too, but you said you dont wanna hop and run high PSI.. so Id recommend Contitech 2 Ply Single 1/2" Port. They are good quality bags.

As for the valves, if you have to spend a little more to get a good brand its definitely worth it IMO, because you for sure dont want them ever to stick.. due to moisture and being cold, or rust.. that could be dangerous.

For your front brackets, a regular set of minitruck torsion brackets is what youd need.

The rear is always the hardest part since there is so many possibilities, you have to decide which type of notch you want, then install it accordingly for what wheels you plan on laying on. You then gotta figure out what brackets you want, you can do on the link bars, over the axle, behind the axle, or probably the cleanest.. behind & under the axle. Then comes the link setup.. of course a 4link is the best overall if installed right, a 3link is also really great though.. you could maybe do a 3link, to save a little.. since you dont want side to side anyway. 3 or 4link wont give you pinion change, wheel offset in the fenderwell, or anything like that..

other than that, theres small choices like switchbox, the way you want to plumb your system determines what fittings you need..

Sorry if the whole thing I just typed is unorganized, I just typed all I could think of.. maybe some of it can help you LOL but hit me up on aim or email me if you have any more specific questions, I'll do my best to help.. I always have time. Good luck man!
