like really 18" is pretty buckwild... i can't even picture such a thing, pinion angle change would be absurd wouldn't it? and your travel would be pretty limited I would think

aight playas, i have personally built, installed, and rolled on 2links, 3links, 4links, and 5links...........

there is nothing wrong with ANY of these if setup properly, the major difference is the 2link compared to the rest, if you run a 2link make the bars long as you possibly can, this will help with less pinion angle change...(assuming you are putting bags on bars for more lift)

going to the stock leaf pocket is fine, dont plan on draggin too much though, you WILL drag through the bar end...also if you plan on running short bars, you might also consider over the axle setup....

4links are better in terms of handling and what have you, but lets all face it, these are mazda minitrucks....most of us arent out there rally racing em, so a 2link is fine for you guys wanting to roll a cheap reliable setup....

btw, fuck your "under $300 for a 4link" shit, i can build a 4link for under $100 its not about the $$$ its about personal preference....
if any of you guys need help or a question on the 2link hit me up, my blue mazda has rolled all over the place, and guess what, it has a 2link!!!

LOL... thats hilarious...

The green and blue sonoma on the site used to be mine (KP 6-link) player.

And as for the mazda... im going to be running an 87 rx7 IRS... starting the frame build right away... Player.

Oh shit you got me good fucker!

badass you got an s10 with a prefab kit, how hard is that to fuck up???? did you even install it yourself??

well you go on and "im gonna" "im gonna" in your shop and bring that bad bitch out, meanwhile you can go on and quit hatin on ppls decisions just b/c you dont think its good enough...2Links are fine, or else, shops like Ekstensive Metalworks in Houston, Tx wouldnt sell em....

im not tryin "to get you" or anything, i got better shit to do than argue with you about something as stupid as the 2link vs. 4link controversy....im just sayin you dont have to be such a cocklick toward ppl who want to run a simple setup that, what?? actually works??? if setup properly mind you...

Uh-oh!! did someone forget the forum guidelines???
note this one in particular:

2. Open Minds - Try to keep an open mind while using the forums. No one single Opinion is correct, and everyone might not agree with you 100% of the time. It is not to be taken personal.

Perhaps you should read my posts where it says its my opinion... I personally wouldn't do it, and I personally wouldn't recommend it to someone over a 4-link.... Personal preference... u have yours and I have mine.

Don't you worry about my mazda... it'll all be done, and all be done by myself, im gonna do a lot of things... so don't you worry about that. (you might want to take a look at some other posts of mine, i've got a pretty solid collection of parts just waiting to go on the mazda I just have to wait for space to clear up in the shop... I can break it down for you even... KustomWerks upper and lower arms, toyota 2" drop spindles, 87 rx7 IRS sittin at the shop, tail light fillers, pillar fillers... I can keep goin if ya like...)

As for the 6-link... who cares if its a prefab kit... are you gonna hate on everyone that runs a pre-fab kit now too?? giver shit buddy. Your a grade A champ in my books!

Keep on workin on your truck, i'll build mine... we will all be merry and joyous in the land of mini truckin... but remember people have their own personal preference... and if someone is considering running a 2-link im sure as hell not gonna recommend he do it or encourage it.

Taker Easy and have a wonderful day!

perhaps you should use that one yourself too.
