I can make it just as strong as 4 link. My 2 link is gonan be better build and strucutaly sound as a 4-link

Im not trying to sound arogant or stupid. I now understand how a 4 link will give you better driveshaft geometry but I still think i can make a 2 link that is as stronmg or stronger then a 4-link. But for better driveline geometry yes the 4 link would be best.

Now I am just thinking because of the video what if I make a parallel 4-link. thta a lil bit better of a system? I think I can make one of them also that is very sturdy

You know what guys, we all know that a 4 link is what everyone should have but like some people have said money isn't allways easy to come by. Also mini truckin is very much about self expression to me, so let people do what the fuck they want. I am one of the many that will be running a 2 link untill I can save the money for a 4 link. Anyways my point is lets not disput what is better lets just try to answer the kids question. Good luck wit ur 2 link man

LOL... i don't know why you'd call me the god of suspensions. Im just stating my opinion. If you don't like it (which you dont) then so be it.

I would never run a 2 link, i would save up the extra couple $'s so I could get a 4 link. Like I stated above a 4-link isn't much more money.

If self expression means running a 2-link then so be it, i prefer to keep my suspension safe and proper and express myself otherwise.

Cheers more beers, thats it thats all.

Very good man, I like that we can conversate even though we don't see eye to eye. But to be real I am not some fool that thinks a 2 link is better, cause that's just plaint ignorent. I would denfinatley recomend a 4 link over the 2 but if money isn't there and you plan on doing a 2 link temporarly so be it. Like I said that's what I'm gonna do. When I get the money I will do a 4 link

how much of a difference of money is it... like really if $289 for a 4-link is to much for someone... well really i dunno what to say.

well considering that you can buy 18" of 2x2 squre tubing from suicide doors for 10 bucks you can make them pretty cheap. Even if you wanted to make some real nice ones at most $100
all you need is:

A set of 18" 2x2 1/4 wall thickness square tubes: $20
Square 4-Link Bung with Poly Bushings: $60

Then you would just have to weld the 4 link bung to the end of the square tubing, then weld the pinson the other side of the tube.

isn't 18" a little short for a link bar??seems really short to me.

I think, but Ill have to measure to be sure, but when my bro did the 2-link on his mazda, he did the bars more than 18" I will check and edit this later. I personally like the look of a 2-link better, but I also wonder how the swaying side to side will affect it. I plan on doing a 2-link on my truck, but Im also gonna run me a panhard bar similar to the way stock cars are setup.
