The one in the picture was just a temporary bridge bar! I am running a Fuel Cell and I replaced that bridge bar with a more intricate setup!

Wouldn't be hard at all to make a new tab for that tank mount though!

Good luck, glad they help!

Yeah thats what Im trying to figure out. I dont have a fuel cell yet, but the truck is torn down and Id like to put in the notch. Just not sure what to do with the gas tank. I might reweld in that bar above the tank and make a new bracket to hold it up for the time being. Just something temporary I guess.

Sounds like a plan to me! I thought about keeping the tank and doing the same thing, but got a killer deal on a Fuel Cell!

Anyways let me know if you need anymore help, and quit wasting time on the forum and get that thing welded in....LOL

lol as soon as my vacuum nightmare is over that is next on my list.

I got frustrated with my vacuums lines and ripped them all out. Now Im trying to rerun everything with all new vacuum line. I had a leak somewhere and couldnt figure it out and I also relocated everything on the fender since I cut it out. Figured this was the easiest way to redo it. That was a bad idea. haha

I hate to be the one to say it...but you really should have ground fillets into the edges of the top plates and side plates before you welded them...to give the weld puddle a good are to fill before you ground them....
that is the qoute unqoute right way to do it....although if you are a good welder this way should be strong enough.
