straight axle conversions are alot easier that it seems. i actually have a dana 44 front axle for sale. i also have step by step instructions on how to do it if u want. i will put sum suspension pics later

How much interest is in a lift kit for 2wd trucks, cuase I actually know of a very good way to lift a 2wd. man this kind of makes me want to go and design a front suspension lift for my 4x4, but I know it would be worth it to put in production cuase there is not much demand. Plus I am planning on running a solid axle under it anyway.

what kind of lift do you have limequat? and and some pics would be cool also.

another thing with these lifted on another thread they were talkin about stepside beds well i think it would look pretty cool with the ranger stepside lifted.....also

this would be great kit if it fit our trucks.

Ok, started out with a stock 4x2 and Silverado rims:

Then added a 3" bodylift, cranked the front torsions, and applied some dirt:

1st step in a 4x4 conversion, add the rear axle. 4.3 really weighs down the torsions:

Man, that looks rediculous, took out a leaf in the rear:

And that's where it stands until I finish the 4x4 front suspension.

looks good limequat. are those factory 235 off silverado or are those the 255's hard to tell on these trucks. looks good.

what do you think about doing the toyota 5lug swap and then adding the lift spindles? i dont want to convert to 4wd, because i have no use for it just want it lifted and good lookin.

ryan.

The tires were 255, pretty sure. I'd prefer not to do a 5-lug swap, because I don't want to change rims...again. I like the idea of a toyota swap, for all the aftermarket options. Plus, I'm keeping an eye out for a sealed hub that would bolt into our corner. I don't like re-packing wheel bearings
